I took up guitar in May 2020 when we were stuck at home during the UK lockdown. I was 63 and never played, never found the time, but always wanted to learn. I found James' web site and he was starting to give lessons via FaceTime due to the pandemic. He guided me on buying my first guitar which I mail ordered because all the shops were closed. I took FT lessons with James every two weeks until June 2021 when I retired and moved back to the USA in Pennsylvania. I'm still taking lessons with James and we have been able to overcome the 5 hour time zone difference where it works for both of us. James is a great teacher, he has patience when you are struggling and injects new and interesting technics along the way to keep the lessons fluid.
