I had such a wonderful experience at this wedding shop! From the beginning, Claire was incredibly helpful (especially with booking a wedding within a quick turn around of 6 months). Then when the dress arrived with a month to go I needed quite a lot alterations as I had lost more weight than expected, but Daisy, the seamstress, went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. The dress turned out beautifully I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The customer service throughout was excellent. Highly recommend this lovely shop they truly made me feel special every step of the way! Thank you so much to both of you! ☺️

If I could give 10 stars I would! The entire experience was perfect, from the first appointment trying on several of the gorgeous dresses to each fitting and finally collecting my dream dress! Claire was exceptional- her knowledge of what suits you as an individual and accessories to pair with each dress was amazing, and you could tell she genuinely cared about you and making sure everything was perfect for your big day! Daisy was fantastic- she helped bring my dream dress to life and made sure it fit me perfectly! It felt like calling in to see a friend each time I visited the shop and it meant so much that Claire and Daisy took the time to get to know you! I would one hundred percent recommend this business to anyone looking for their wedding dress!

I couldn’t recommend Clare enough. I found my wedding dress on my first appointment here and Clare found the perfect veil and headband to match too. The service and attention to detail were amazing! A massive thank you to Clare and Daisy for the whole experience ☺️

Definitely worth the 4 hour round trip for my dream wedding dress!!! My overall experience at To Have and To Hold Bridalwear was amazing and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Clare went above and beyond to help me with my search for my wedding dress. Clare has been brilliant with communication from start to finish and has even kept in touch after the wedding, which really shows how much she cares. I reached out to Clare prior to making my initial appointment as I'd seen a dress I liked on her website from the Ellis Bridals collection called Pippa (the same name as one of my much loved dogs) and also a British designer, what could be more perfect!? With been let down at other bridal shops, I wanted to make sure the dress I had set my heart on was actually in the shop, Clare was so quick to get back to me and I couldn't believe my luck when she asked if I'd like to come and try the dress on... and so the start of my unforgettable and exciting part of my wedding planning journey began. From my first appointment, I was so impressed, the shop is so beautiful and clean, and has a large collection of bridal dresses and bridesmaid dresses. After been warmly greeted by Clare, she had the sample dress ready for me to try on, so immediately I knew she had listened to me and continued to be very helpful and supportive throughout. I feel it's worth noting there was no pressure to purchase or make any decisions, until I was 100% happy. Clare gave me her full attention at every appointment and offered expert guidance on how my dress would look and fit in the right size and she knew every inch of the dress and how to best accessorise. Clare was very clear with the timeframe that it would take for my dress to be delivered once ordered, and she didn't let me down. My dress was ready 2 months prior to my wedding date, so we had plenty of time to schedule in some appointments for fittings. I couldn't wait to try on my dress!!! This is when I met Daisy, the seamstress, who right from the word go, made me feel so comfortable and again gave me her full attention and listened to how I felt in the dress and how I wanted it altered to feel like 'my' dress. She is incredibly talented and her work is immaculate, I couldn't fault anything, my dress fitted perfectly and most importantly it was super clean, she exceeded all my expectations and more. My dress was ready for collection as promised and beautifully steamed in a clean breathable bag. I'm so grateful to both Clare and Daisy, and can't thank them enough for all their help and support. Their happiness for me really did shine through and made the experience so much more enjoyable. None of my appointments felt rushed, and they were happy to answer as many questions as I had, and offered invaluable advise for the wedding day. I felt like a queen on my wedding day, my dress fitted so well, was comfortable to wear all day, and made me feel so confident, I received so many compliments and had the most wonderful day. Honestly can’t thank Clare & Daisy enough for their amazing customer service and the care they put into making me feel at ease. Right from the word go the experience of trying on and choosing my dress was so lovely … it had to be ‘To Have and to Hold’ for my wedding dress. Every time I visited for dress fittings it was like re-visiting good friends. Daisy … my dress fits perfectly due to your skills and I am over the moon with it! 😃… Highly recommend this store for choice & customer care … thank you ladies for being SO amazing 🤩 x
