Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Northallerton

The store is always so welcoming, everything was on time a ran smoothly like clockwork. Every staff member we had interactions with was friendly and put my daughter at ease immediately. The optician was amazing, he was so patient and thorough, explained everything clearly to her in an age appropriate way. Really happy with our experience.

I was made to feel welcome as soon as I walked in the door, a member of staff took all my details and told me where I could wait. The optician was very patient with me (I hadn't been for an eye test for years), and organised an additional 'field test' so she could monitor any ongoing issues, Picking the glasses up was made easy. The staff seem great. The glasses are excellent. I should add that the reason I hadn't been for an eye test since the early 2010s was due to a 2.5 hour wait for a pre booked appointment due to an admin error (they thought my wife and I had been and gone and seemed quite put out about having to 'squeeze us in at the last minute') followed by a eyesight test leading to a pair of glasses that I couldn't read anything through and threw in the bin after a fortnight resorting to B&M reading glasses - yes, I know - for about 13 years. The fact that it was the same branch is a credit to to people working there now. Well done. Credit where it's due.

While visiting Northallerton I found a branch of Specsavers I knew I needed an update so I went inside all the glass showcases and frames sparkled so I made an appointment and returned later to have my eyes checked and a prescription issued.Having already chosen my frames l paid for them (especially with the get one pair and receive another free )and when I returned to get them I left the shop wearing my 1st pair and a 2nd pair in my handbag.A very happy customer.

Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the lady who carried out my eye test who explained everything in simple terms.

I asked for an urgent appointment on a Saturday, which was quickly and efficiently arranged. I saw a fabulous optician called Pat, who was informative, reassuring and had superb customer skills. Thank you Pat and the team, if I lived locally I would be back!
