Great spot for a day out. Lots of different footpaths both around the reservoir and surrounding countryside. Avoid parking anywhere except the official car park as you are very likely to be fined for parking on the grass verges.

A good place to take the dogs and kids for a walk or picnic, supervised of course. There are benches with tables placed at regular intervals, paths that are relativly easy and well maintained, trails leading in all directions for the more adventurous people, and there are good bike trails of varying difficulty levels, I could not see any toilets on my visit. Three small parking places are available; two close to Cod Beck Reservoir and one further down the road, the one down the road is small and bumpy, be carefull if its been raining as there's a possibility of getting boged down at that one, the two closest to Cod Beck are in reasonable condition with firm ground underfoot. All in all, on a warm day its a very inviting place and well worth a visit.

This is a lovley place to go and has plenty of walks for varying levels of abilities. There is a good sized car park (with some disabled spots) but can get VERY full on hot days. There's bins at the car park but only one other bin that's out of the way around the reservoir. It's a beautiful walk and great place for your dog to swim but please be warned that reservoirs are very cold and are not safe for people. There are quite a few benches around and the path around the reservoir is about 1.5 miles and relativly flat. Although, if you are driving here from Swainby direction be warned that there is a rather steep hill to drive up! Best to avoid in foggy weather.

Saw this place on park4night app so decided to pull in to eat our parmos & watch the women's footy before staying in the van overnight last Saturday. Lovely spot but from 3.30-4.10am loads of ramblers congregating for a walk, really noisy. Beautiful spot to walk dog around the water following morning & for grand daughter to practice her bike skills but wouldn't recommend overnighting on weekends. Busy with dog walkers from 7am, carpark full by 8.

Great place for a quiet walk or a splash about and picnic with the kids. We love this place. I used to visit as a child and now take my children.
