Wharfemeadows Park

This park is clean, well maintained an huge. Perfect for a nice walk. A great play area for kids and a skate park, these are situated apart. There are rowboats that you can hire for 30mins or an hour. A great day out or daily visit.

Lovely park in Otley with riverside walks. Great play areas for the kids. Easy walk into Otley town and shops. Nice little cafe. Plenty of parking alongside the park.

A great place to tire out the dogs and kids. It can be a bit muddy during wet weather. Lovely playground and skatepark. Free use of tennis courts is a bonus. It's a shame some local teens wreck the nets, smoke weed and swear in the skatepark and deal weed in the car park. Get up and out during the morning while they're still in bed and it's 5 *

Overall an excellent little play area good for a wide range of young children. There's plenty of seating including the large stepped decking seats with a view of the river and a cafe next to the playground. 1 star deducted due to the soft ground that needs TLC which is a trip hazard in a couple of places. The playground is connected to the long river walk. There's the usual park gym equipment which the kids like to play on, a large flat grass area with a rugby goal, 3 tennis courts and the rowing boats all nearby. Parking was free with a shortish walk.

Lovely park in Otley that skirts the river Wharfe. There's a bowling green, tennis courts, skate park, children's play area and cafe. Nice to walk along the river, stop by yhe weir or just sit beside the manicured gardens.
