Kwik Fit - Otley

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at Kwik Fit. Naby and his team were absolutely brilliant and provided excellent customer service. My tyre pressures were low, and the staff had no hesitation at all in helping me and checking my tyres straight away so I could be on my way safely. They were friendly, efficient, and very professional. I would definitely recommend this centre and will be using them again in the future.

I visited Kwik Fit Otley with an issue relating to my broken car key. Although key repairs are not a service they provide, Nabeel, the manager, went above and beyond to assist me. He kindly offered a temporary solution that allowed me to use my key safely and drive my car to a specialist garage for a proper repair. His professionalism, willingness to help, and customer-focused approach were genuinely impressive. Excellent service and highly recommended.

(Third review. - deleted and reposted) I am annoyed at myself. Why did I try them a third time? My mistake. MOT today Only one thing wrong - amber engine light warning (particulate diesel filter). Got a call and was told: "We have the computer to plug in but the software is out of date. So you will have to take it away to get fixed. You can come back, but we don't have any availability for xyz days". So frustating! Honestly. Why is this Kwik Fit so bad? A better question is why did I give them a third chance. That's on me. Have used Kwik Fit twice. First time brought my car in around 9am to get two tyres and all disk pads and breaks replaced. A few hours later received call to say that they needed more time and if I could collect car around 5pm. Waited in Otley and then went back at 5.05pm to find the place closed and locked up. No one there and no call from them. Had to get a taxi home then another taxi back the next day. Was a waste of a day for me but they gave me £100 off the final bill. Second time, booked in for an MOT which failed. Booked to bring it back to give them time to order two rear tyres. When I returned they forgot to order them. Again, waited in Otley until around 4pm for them to get tyres in and fitted. I generally like Kwik Fit but on both occasions they were not quick. It looks like they have a lot of staff turnover or or something like that. I will use them again but I will be much more prescriptive / inquisitive. The end result was great and cost competitive.

Took my car for MOT - they failed it with numerous advisories was told I’d be looking at £500+ to get these fixed, was advised to call back for booking in, luckily it turned out they couldn’t get the parts so I booked elsewhere for retest and issues fixing. Turned out, there was nothing wrong with my car and it passed with no advisories at all! Makes you question the trustworthiness of this place.
