Highfield Farm Accommodation & Campsite

It was lovely to stay in the Shepherds Hut, private, cozy and well equipped with comfortable bed, cooking utensils, basic appliances such as mini fridge, kettle, toaster and a sink. Peaceful location and friendly locals, perfect for couple and family getaways. The BBQ and fire pit were great for the evenings. Had a log burner but we didn’t need it in the summer. A friendly, family campsite with a warm welcome and beautiful surroundings. We came to High Field Farm for our second visit on the last weekend of the summer holidays. The campsite was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad we went, it was lovely!! As a result of our first visit we planned the second with 8 other families from our daughters school. Iain was brilliant and accommodating allowing us to have use of the field so we didn't disturb any other campers. He'd put picnic benches out for us as well as a huge barrel BBQ to use. The children had a fantastic time, as well as the adults. There's some lovely walks, which we all enjoyed with lots of wildlife to see and hear as well as going to feed the Alpacas at tea. It kept everyone entertained. The facilities were clean, safe and the family welcoming, checking in with us to make sure everything was okay😊 I'd highly recommend this site for families. You have showers, toilets, chemical disposal and a washing up area as well as ehu and fresh water points, however, surrounding you are trees and greenery. It's a brilliant balance which for us creates the perfect site! All the families that came with us want to return next year as well as some additional families which have heard how good it was and want to join next time. I can see this will be a regular favourite for us going forward.

Gorgeous little site for a first trip out in our caravan. Very peaceful and helpful and lovely owners ☺️

Stayed in a campervan. There was a hardstanding area but there were what appeared to be a couple of permanently sited caravans it. We opted to stay in the field of this area. Almost flat with four double pointed hook ups spaced around the edge of the field which was about half the size of a football pitch, so plenty of space. There were freshwater taps here as well. Ground was a bit soft so campervan tyres sunk in a little overnight making the morning drive off a bit if a concern. We were there in June but it had been a very wet May. Two outside toilets and two small shower rooms which also had toilets in them. These were clean and well maintained. It was very peaceful and only about a half hour into Hull. The park and ride was easy to get to though a bit far out to the west of the city. The bus is part of a normal service so lots of stops. Room to park on bays and no height bar. Only charged for bus ride..

Great little camp site nice and quiet but close enough to withernsea that you can pop in for food and shops etc We always have a great time when we visit Ian and he is always very welcoming
