The Fire Place

Met Alex when he gave us a quote at our house, then called into the shop to finalise our order. He is very friendly and helped with all our queries, not telling us what 'we had to have' like some other local companies. Therefore, we were happy to place the order, and cannot fault Dan the installer's work, exemplary - he likes coffee, milk, no sugar 😀 We hit a few unforseen snags, but altogether, The Fire Place team worked to a fabulous solution. Cannot recommend enough, excellent 👌

Ignore the odd bad review! I can't speak highly enough of the service received, top notch from start to finish. So laid back and quick 3 week lead in time to installation. Full opening up of the fireplace and a very neat finish when stove put in, high quality stove and beam, even had an issue with my chimney pot falling in that was also quickly fixed and saved us down the line if it had fallen in. Dan did the installation and so polite and a very high quality job. Thanks to all, and looking forward to some cosy nights in front of it.

Very happy with the multi fuel stove we purchased from you, the stove pack was sold for an excellent price and being new to this the buying experience was really good and helpful. Good evening Its that time of year when the weather turns cold and we start to light our wonderful.log burner..it was installed by The fireplace at Penistone. Fab service from our first meeting in their showroom. To.the finished product. Installed by professional tradesmen with an eye for detail. They explained everything we asked regarding the log burner. From.how to light a successful.fire , how to maintain a good fire, plus how to keep the flue working correctly. Couldn't be more happy with this company. And believe me , we certainly looked at a few.!! Go and treat yourself. The warmth is so cosy.plus it is saving on our heating bills. Many thanks Penistone....x

I would not use this firm again. I had a stove installed and there were problems with the original job. The fitter left the wall in a mess and had not sealed the vent. The original stove also had a slight fault and had to be replaced. All of this was remedied within two weeks and I am happy with the finished job. The invoice was sent on a Saturday and before 0900 on Tuesday, Nigel Schofield left me a threatening message that he was coming to remove the stove due to lack of payment. I rang assuming he had the wrong number only to be told he wasn’t threatening , he was promising to remove the stove. He was also insulting about the house and decor. Very unprofessional.
