Bit on the pricey side considering what Pickering has to offer and it needs resurfacing too. Like the fact that there are recycling facilities in the carpark as well as free toilets. Parking should be free here during the festive season to draw more people into Town yet I suppose that the government has cut Council budgets to the bone as it is.

Visited mid-week in June. On a slope, but plenty of spaces. Some are for electric cars. Coach bays here too. Pay at meter when you park. We paid £6-60 for 6 hours. Lovely toilets on site (These are free but closed at night.) Easy walk to town. Not too far to walk to the castle, but the walk is uphill. Good car park.

Plenty of spaces midday Thursday in November, excellent toilet block and the disabled facility in particular was one of the very best visited. Parking charges apply to Blue Badge. Very good Cafe adjacent with ramp.
