My wife got a £100 fine for parking over 3 hours. Had no idea there was this restriction and unlikely to ever go to Costa before a long shopping trip again. I can understand that they need to deter excess parking but it does infuriate genuine customers.

I love TKMaxx / Homesense and like many others spend a lot of money with them, also at the other retail outlets here. I dont know who owns the car park but I wont be coming to shop here anymore having seen the reviews regarding the parking. Having been stung in a similar situation in a similar place (£100 parking fine) I wont be coming here again. Many thanks to others who have highlighted this, you've saved me from a potential fine (I spend ages in store). I wonder how many other people have seen this and will just not go here anymore? In these difficult times retailers need to hold on to their customers, this isnt the way to do that.

My son parked in this car park as he had an interview locally and the sign said 4 hrs free parking, when he returned he had a parking fine on his windscreen, he had intended to go into the shops in the retail park but on seeing he had a oar park fine stuck on his windscreen he just left really upset at receiving a £60 fine. Is it any wonder that shops are closing down at the rate they are when people are being penalised like this. These parking companies are disgusting, UKPC in this case, they are the modern highwaymen. Retail parks could make a charge for parking for a couple of hours rather than ripping off the unsuspecting motorist, please be careful anyone parking here you are being monitored.

Beware of new parking limit and it has been reduced to 3 hours not enough time in my opinion especially if you visit McDonald’s or Costa in next or have the kids with you! No signs at all letting you know that it has changed and being local thinking I know the limit I obviously don’t check the tiny signs every time I drive in apparently changed a few weeks ago and is now cameras recording your entry and exit.
