One of the best Sunday lunches we have had. Food was exceptional! I had the lamb, my son had beef and my husband had the fish and chips. The service was impeccable. You’ll struggle to beat The Bay Horse ❤️
All I can say is the reviews are very accurate! The Bay does a few uncommon seafood dishes which are gorgeous. The batter in the (speciality) haggis fritters and cod goujons is so light!
From start to finish absolutely amazing. Warm welcome. Sunday roast some might say expensive but believe me it's not, £26 each but the beef was local and the best I had ever tasted, even from my time on the farm in New Zealand. Hats off to this family run pub and Adrian the chef, it should be Michelin Star 🌟 by far. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the yorkshire pudding s like mama used to make. Roasties out of this world and real mushy peas. Leeks in sauce and proper gravy. Don't normally have a dessert but could not say no . Homemade chewy chocolate brownie and delicious local ice cream and real melted chocolate sauce. Will highly recommend to friends and family and our clients
The BEST Sunday lunch i have ever had, roast beef perfectly cooked and good big servings with fabulous sides of yorkshire pudding, cheesy leeks, mushy peas and roasted root vegetables. A fabulous pint of pumped local pale ale, a delicious red wine from a good selection helped make lunch very special. And the dessert of bread and butter pudding and pavlova made for a magnificent ending. We will return one day
Wow - what a fantastic Sunday Lunch at The Bay Horse. Booked online using their new website widget. They had a a very extensive starter and main Sunday menu, but opted for a Chicken Sunday lunch with a pudding to follow. The portions were very generous, with seasonal veg, creamed leeks, mash and extra gravy. My wife opted for beef - served pink. She said it was delicious. I ordered the fresh berry pavlova for pudding and wow, it was huge 🤣, and also delicious. My wife ordered Creme Brûlée which again hit the spot. A definite recommendation and will revisit !!
