Great for dog walking. Beautiful woodland and paths. Looks great in summer when all the flowers are blooming. You can take a nice peaceful walk through many paths that go through it. The only thing that spoils it is that people don't pay attention to the sign saying please keep your dog on the lead. Many let their dogs off. It's a shame about this as they don't see their dogs messing so they don't pick it up. Overall it's very beautiful but like I say there are a few irresponsible dog owners walking there. Most are ok.
Great parking and some is wheelchair friendly too.the main paths are in very good condition and are well maintained. There were some dead trees which may be at risk of falling and a couple which had fallen, however the walk was really enjoyable. It was very clean everywhere. We didn't find any actual picnic tables but there were a few little benches. The area is a really nice length of walk even for little legs and there was a little gazebo about the wildlife with a wonderful man who was really helpful. I can't wait to go back.
Lovely place to just disappear into your own world and recharge not a hard walk but pleasant apart from the odd dog owners dog bags dumped
Great circular walk for dog walking, people of most abilities. Maybe a wheel chair at a push, but my elderly mother who is recovering from a stroke was ok with it. Many joggers went past us, lots of seats, free parking and fairly level most of the way.
A great place to capture beautiful birds with my camera right on my doorstep. A nice dog walk too
