Please don't close! Very necessary for stationery, magazines, books. The High Street shops are totally different from the convenience store WH Smiths in train stations.
Great store for magazines, newspapers plus books and stationery but the Post Office really does need more staff on during the week. I was waiting a while in the queue and a number of people also waiting walked out as they were annoyed at how long they were having to wait to be served. Something needs to be done - and quick or you'll be losing custom
Not as big as it used to be as the store is shared with the post Office located at the back of the store. They have a great selection of magazines, the best in Redcar, to cater for all people, including gardening and hobbies, history, genealogy, stamp collecting, video games, and too many to mention in this review. The store's emphasis these days are mainly, magazines, newspapers, stationery and books, but they don't have as many books as they once had. Its also a shame that they no longer sell DVDs, video games and CDs. The shop can get very busy due to the Post Office, so if you need to send parcels or other things, ques can build up at peak times such as Monday's and Saturdays's.
This is one of their smaller stores so don't go in expecting to much, they still have a wide variety of stationery and magazines but not so many books as you would find in their other stores
Just a small cramped smiths. I only go for a few magazines and lottery tickets. Its the only place in the town with a good selection of nagazines.
