Sherpa Van

Fabulous team of drivers that were friendly, helpful prompt and efficient from start to finish! We were cycling coast to coast via the MTB route from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay. We parked at Kirkby Stephen in the Sherpa Van secure parking area and they transferred our group of 4 and our 4 bikes to start of CTC and collected us from RHB at the end … and transferred our luggage to each overnight stop … faultless! (We did get one reprimand from a driver on just one morning collection - but this was totally justifiable really as we were very late putting our bags out for collection and he had a round of others to collect and deriver). Overall a brilliant team including booking details which were taken and carried out perfectly - they made it a great holiday adventure! Thoroughly recommend them 👍👍👍

Last monyh we walked the Dalesway and were highly delighted by Sherpacan's service, the first time we have had luggage transported. This was seamless and we also had the pleasure of meeting one of your drivers at the Sedbergh hotel who was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. We offer a special menton to the great help given by Mel and Mark in Operations. Can I give the background to this? Some 35 years ago we walked the Dalesway twice, carrying our own luggage the first time in hot weather, the second time in wet weather. We fancied attempting it a third time in benign conditions - no rain, no wind and no extreme temperature. We noticed that from September 22nd such conditions were forecast for 6 days. September 19th was our 61st wedding anniversary and we often walk in Wharfedale on this day so we decided to test ourselves walking the first leg of the Dalesway from Ilkley to Burnsall. This we completed successfully and we decided it was possible for us to continue with the rest of the walk and ask Sherpavan to transport our luggage. The following two days we had visitors but in the morning we booked six hostelries for our walk. In the afternoon, there was a lull with entertaining our visitors so we uploaded Sherpavan's website and lfound and filled in details of the hostelries. Imagine our distress when going to the top of the page we saw the requirement that one needed to book 5 days in advance. We rang Sherpavan's operations who could not have been more positive and helpful even when we needed to change one hostelry because of a wrong date Richard and Susan Boddy

The most stress free, reliable service. Easy to book and it just works. We did the Coast2Coast trail in 3 stages so quite a few logistics of leaving bags at start and end points where we weren’t actually staying The pubs and hotels were happy to keep our bags for Sherpa Van to collect, which suggests they all trust Sherpa Van and are happy to help make it all work.

Excellent service with baggage transport on our Cleveland Way walk. Communications were clear, quick, and friendly. We had our own itinerary with a range of B&Bs and AirBnBs, and Sherpa Van was wonderfully flexible and accommodating. Everything worked great, and we would be happy to use the service again.

SherpaVans was perfect. Every morning they picked up out bags and every afternoon the bags were waiting at the next inn. They took great care of the bags. Nothing was damaged or marked up. Excellent service. Also, they were very responsive to my email questions.
