Low Moorgate Park CS Site

What a wonderful site! Very peaceful and very well maintained! The owner Stuart welcomed us as soon as we arrived and was very helpful and friendly, in fact I don’t think we’ve ever met a nicer guy; We came here because we had booked to go to the Bangers and Cash live weekend which was walking distance from this lovely site. Stuart came to see us later for a friendly chat to see how our day had gone then left us to enjoy our evening; We will definitely be back!

Nice quiet little site. Has a railway running alongside but the high banking does a good job of deflecting train noise and the line is quiet at night. Ground can be a soft if there has been rain and the planted trees can make manoeuvring a little more tricky. Facilities are basic but functional and always clean. Site owners are friendly and helpful. Good value site.

Great little site - could barely hear the trains. Basic facilities but owner very proactive with great communications. Easy cycling distance of village, pub, shop and Scampston Hall.

I'd love to be able to say this site is rubbish so you won't all book it up leaving me not being able to book again myself but, I cannot fault this site at all. Very small, very quiet. Very dog and kid friendly. The owner, Stuart, is brilliant! He came to the site every day to check everyone was okay & to see if anyone needed anything. He's one of the nicest people we've ever met & was full of tips & advice when asked but gave you space when you wanted it. The site itself is small with only 5 or 6 ehu pitches for campers/caravans & a few pitches for tents. There are no showers but the toilets are well lit & kept very clean with fresh & waste water facilities next to the building. The grounds are well tended & are level. There is even a small herb garden. The site is in a great, central location with lots to see & do nearby. All in all, this is a real gem of a place that we will definitely be rebooking so please make sure you save us a space!

Fabulous site. We were attending the Yorkshire Show at Scampston Hall and this site was perfect walking distance. The site itself was lovely. The toilets were immaculate. The owner was very friendly and informative. Would recommend.
