Ripley Caravan Park

We have really enjoyed our Caravan stay here. Originally booked for 4 nights but added an extra 3 which was no problem. Loads to do in the local area. Staff are really friendly. The dog was totally chilled despite the attention of the local duck population. We will return.

Very quaint static and tourer park. Really quiet and just a small walk to the boars head pub and Ripley castle. Park has clean toilet and shower facilities, launderette, shop. Games room with pool, table tennis. Swimming pool and an outdoor children's play area. It's well kept and tidy, an ideal spot for exploring Harrogate and Knaresborough.

As always a 100 percent honest review. We have stayed on loads of sites in our time, and can honestly say that the wardens here are by far the most friendliest we have ever met, such a warm welcome and helped unhitch and move our trailer, The site is very well kept and always tidy, we had change of plans on our leaving day, so ask if we could stay another 3 nights, they jiggled things about to free up our pitch, nothing is to much hardship for them. The electric is only 10amp BUT we haven't had a problem in our massive rv, People moaning about it are the ones that are so selfish and want their air-conditioning on or big heaters in their awnings. Great place to stay, Harrogate is very close, 40 minutes drive to York. Would definitely come here again and would highly recommend it as I will on Facebook pages.

Good location as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. Small play park onsite for children as well as a football pitch and volleyball field, small indoor swimming pool with a small additional charge. Only reason this did not get a 5 star review from me is i personally feel shower facilities could do with an update and onsite games room / swimming pools and shop close at 1800 during peak season what i feel is a little bit soon following exploring the area and swimming rooms changing facilities poor, but definitely worth a stay

Fabulous campsite the staff are so friendly nothing is too much trouble just needs electrics and showers updating to make it perfect
