The Dunsforth Pub

About

Description

Paul and Janine Cunliffe, welcome you to The Dunsforth; their beautiful country pub and restaurant, set in the picturesque village of Lower Dunsforth; just 3.4 miles from the market town of Boroughbridge and the A1/M.

Chef Patron Paul, formerly head chef of Harvey Nichols; strives for culinary excellence whilst keeping in touch with his Yorkshire roots and ethos.

The Dunsforth bar is welcoming, warm and friendly, with two open coal fireplaces at its centre. In the summer months, the terrace and gardens also make an ideal spot to enjoy an aperitif before dining or simply for a drink with friends.

Paul and Janine are passionate about the provenance of their ingredients and support local producers wherever possible. Meat is sourced from trusted farms and estates in the local area, fish is delivered fresh from day boats from Hartlepool and food miles are kept to a minimum.

“The focus on our food is fresh, seasonal produce of the highest quality - a view which all of our suppliers share. Yorkshire is full of outstanding produce and we plan to make the most of it!”
