The Old Spring well is situated in the historic picturesque town of Harrogate, famously known as the "Spa Town" when in the 16th century the town spa waters were discovered and became a popular health treatment. The town is a popular tourist destination thanks to such attractions as the Royal Pump Rooms and the RHS Harlow Carr Gardens, and for staging many conferences including the Political Party conferences.
