David and Jemima are both Yorkshire born and bred, proud of their heritage, it’s people, it’s landscape and more especially it’s food and drink. Both live in the middle of glorious Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales and look out onto an ever changing patchwork of green from their office window. They have been avid customers at the local farmers markets, and independent food shops for years and after finding it impossible to buy the produce as hamper gifts to give to family and friends far and wide, they made their own. . . . . . . and so The Yorkshire Hamper Company was born.

These are hampers with a difference.

David and Jemima both take pride in testing every product. Every item chosen for the range is the best of the best, and so you know exactly where it is from and who makes it, an introduction to the producers is included in every hamper sold.

We look forward to supplying you with the best handmade, hand picked, hand packed Yorkshire produce available.

We are proud to supply only high quality produce made in Yorkshire, which is made only by small scale suppliers, and is mainly handmade. A truly unique range of food and drinks.

Based in Leyburn in the glorious Yorkshire Dales, and being Yorkshire born and bred, we wanted to share with you all the wonderful food and drink made by the most amazing producers in the county.

Many of the products included in our boxes and hampers can only be found at local farmers markets and small independent shops in Yorkshire. We’ve done all the hard work sourcing, tasting and testing, to be able to bring them all together for you to enjoy.

All of our products are handmade or made on a small scale, many of which are produced in small batches in Yorkshire country cottage kitchens. These are very special, limited edition items. Don’t be fooled by the larger hamper websites, when we say artisan we mean artisan. We will never disapoint, if our suppliers are unable to provide us with their amazing produce for any reason, we will never substitute for an item that is mass produced or produced on a large scale.
