Ripon Household Waste Recycling Centre

Needed to use Ripon recycling several times in recent months. The staff always have always being supportive and helpful. Can be busy but little patience and it's soon your turn. Not the best if accessibility is needed but on request I have always being given support. Only one thing frustrates me people's inability to reverse park.

I think some of the staff could be a little more friendly and smile a bit !! They will help with heavy items which is appreciated, but they do all look rather glum !

Very well organised. Helpful staff, particularly Patrick who is an asset to HWRC.

Absolute joke of a place. Far too small, always have to queue to get in. Been today with my garden waste and the skip was full and couldn’t take anymore so 30 mile round trip to the Harrogate tip. It’s summer time !!!! Everybody is gardening, HAVE ANOTHER GARDEN WASTE SKIP AVAILABLE

I called into the recycling centre this morning with a broken garden fence panel. I have an injured ankle and took one load up to the wood skip. As I walked down the steps I was met by Jack, who insisted on taking all the rest of the wood for me. I am so grateful for his help, kindness and professional attitude. He should be recognised by his line managers.
