Myself & my son travelled all the way from the Shetland Islands to collect my lovely new car!! And boy was it worth it. Every step of the way Cameron kept me updated with pictures and even a video. You need to invest a lot of trust in buying a vehicle unseen and the trust was 100% installed. On arrival (after a 14 hr ferry journey & a 7hr train journey)my new car was officially unveiled even having a plaque with my name on! I can honestly say in the 35+ yrs of buying cars, I’ve NEVER had either! Made the trip down very special. My son had a guided tour of all the splendid cars for sale, which truly added to our customer experience. My car is spotless and came with a nation wide warranty! ALX, what a place to buy a car , I have been to many car garages and purchased many cars , but I must say the service at this place has to be the best to date , I purchased my R8 from ALX this week and Will and Cameron have been the best sales people I have come across , they are extremely polite and not pushy and have always and I mean always got back to me as soon as they can, as punctually to me is paramount when buying a car as as a buyer there are always so many questions you need to ask.. I could go on as I cannot praise ALX enough , I also met Jules the owner and he is a true gentleman .. I was even kindly collected from Thirsk railways station by Will who is absolutely polite and knows what he is talking about .. and then I was met by Cameron at the garage who is also a true gent.. where they had my car ready to collect and was immaculately valeted and was under a cover waiting for me to see my wonderful car .. what an experience , one I will never forget .. Thank you all for getting me the car which by the way is absolutely on another scale .. Brilliant from start to finish. I bought a car 3 months ago, exactly as described, had it checked independently and absolutely spot on. I also needed some info a couple of months after I bought it and Will couldn’t have been more helpful. Will did a great job when selling the car and was just as good 3 months later. Can’t recommend enough.

We visited ALX cars due to spotting a car we liked on their website. The service from when we first pulled up and feeling really welcome and not being ‘pushed’ by sales was great. Cameron was friendly, helpful and genuinely a nice guy. We had a chat about what we were looking for, he was happy when we went away to view another car down the road, but our experience there was nothing like ALX so came back straight away. We drove the car, loved it and Cameron went out of his way to get us the deal we were happy with and was realistic with us in terms of expectations. We had to return for a slight defect on the paint which was booked in and loan car sorted with ease and the results of the repair have been 10/10 as well as the customer service before and after. They have also agreed to book us back in for our MOT and them pay for this, due to not having enough months left for their usual standard at the time of sale, as we took the car on the day of purchase at our request. The garage itself is clean, welcoming and the whole team were great to deal with. We would 100% recommend. We will certainly use again in the future.

I have just taken delivery of my stunning Audi S3 black edition from ALX Specialist Cars. What a perfect example of exceptional customer service which, in my opinion, is very rare these days. From the initial enquiry Cameron was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and not at all “pushy. “ He was true to his word every step of the way. Collecting my car was a lovely experience as even though there were much more expensive vehicles for sale I was made to feel appreciated with an “ unveiling “ accompanied by a personal thank you plaque! I would not hesitate to return to them in the future or to recommend them. Thank you Cameron - and Will for the handover.
