The Merchant Taylors’ Hall

About

Description

The Merchant Taylors’ Hall, nestled within the ancient walls of the City of York, is one of the most significant medieval buildings in this architecturally rich city.

Originally built in 1415, the Hall has borne witness to centuries of history and been a place for York’s residents to congregate, feast, make music and make merry for more than 600 years.

Now carefully restored and available to hire, the Hall provides a magnificent venue for weddings, private dinners, concerts, banquets, meetings, exhibitions and conferences.
