Watermark Gallery is an independent, family owned business in the centre of Harrogate. It sells a full range of contemporary and modern British art; paintings, prints, ceramics, jewellery and sculpture as well as cards and stationery by over 40 professional artists and makers throughout the UK.

Watermark was set up online in 2016 by husband and wife team, Liz and Richard Hawkes. Following a successful ‘pop-up’ gallery on Royal Parade in the centre of Harrogate in 2018, the couple managed to secure permanent premises, which they refurbished into a beautiful new gallery space and artist workshop, on the same parade in Feb 2020.

The gallery prides itself in being a friendly, accessible place to buy from a full range of genuinely affordable and highly attractive, original art by a range of artists and makers, many of whom live and work in Yorkshire.

From hand blown glass, sculpture and ceramics to contemporary silver jewellery, paintings, and children’s illustration, the range on offer at Watermark Gallery is constantly changing and has something for everyone.
