This GP has been hit or miss my entire life. Had some experiences better and worse but I'd say its always been alright. Had a phone call with 111 who told me to contact the surgery ASAP for an appointment. Got through to them at 8:11 (their phone lines open at 8) after trying since the turn of 8AM and they said they were full and would schedule a call with the doctor any time until 5:30PM. Finally got a call from the doctor who couldn't wait to get me off the phone, told me my symptoms (multiple week long phlegmy cough) was just asthma playing up and she'd prescribe some steroids. Reluctantly scheduled me an appointment for the next day where within 5 minutes the clinician diagnosed me with a chest infection and prescribed anti-biotics. The worst part is she asked me questions that either directly or indirectly point to asthma symptoms and I had no shortness of breath, no difficulty breathing, no tightness etc etc and she still told me it's simply asthma. It's clear she had made up her mind before she even rang me.

Was seen here for the first time by a ‘GP’ for neck review. I am 26 years old and this GP in his own words said “there are people worse off than you, go on holiday, enjoy your life, have fun, it’s only abit of pain, which you will barely have at 26” disgusted. I asked for a MRI scan of my neck (already had an xray) which he first refused because of my age then accepted the MRI. I refused physio just because I think it would be pointless as a neck is something people use every day without thinking about it, it’s not as off I keep it in the same place constantly. Anyways I’ve had a call today for a physio referral and he’s now declined my MRI scan. I’d give 0 star if I could. Appealing bed side manner, made me tear up and then accused me of being addicted to pain relief because I was on paracetamol, then Codiene and then prescribed Naproxen and none were affective. But he seems to think a person under 30 can’t suffer with pain. Disgusting man, will not be going back, I’ll stick to my own GP practice

I asked for appointment for my 6 year old, they told me they very busy and they book me in Kimberworth Park medical centre. They called me 3 times to make sure that I know that my appointment is in Kimberworth. When I went to Kimberworth, ladies in reception told me that my appointment was booked by Greasbrough but canceled and doctor just left. My daughter felt very unwell so I went to greasborough to ask about this cancellation and ask if any doctor can see her. Receptionist told me she can book an appointment for Monday (it was Friday 4pm) and doctors already left(very rude receptionist) . I felt very angry as I was traveling from one to another practice with sick child without any help. I told her I don't need any appointment and will go to walk in centre in Sheffield and left, after 20 minutes they called me to tell that doctor can see her. We went to Sheffield and very helpful staff helped my daughter. I will change my gp just after I will write official complaint

I am beyond disappointed with the way we have been treated on a number of occasions by the receptionists at Greasborough Medical Centre. The worst experience was on Monday (this passed Mon) when I took my 5 month old baby girl there and got told by the receptionist that she can't be admitted because we didn't have an appointment. (On their website it said that infants can be seen without an appointment.) When I questioned that they said that they haven't been doing this for 2 years which is ridiculous. When I've asked if we can book in for the afternoon they said they were fully booked. I ended up taking my daughter to a&e to then be transferred to the children's ward. When I talked to the staff in the hospital they told me that the GP should have admitted her... This is just ridiculous 😡
