Brand new pet store in Great Eastern retail park. Has quite a large selection of animal products from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. The prices of the cat food varied some were cheaper some were dearer so its like anywhere else you shop around. There is a dog grooming parlour and i believe a vets(not a 100% sure) ,they also had rabbits, budgies and canaries. The ladies were very friendly and i signed up to their loyalty scheme and got 15% off my purchases straight away. Had everything you could think of for your pets. Worth a look round.

If you’re a pet parent in Rotherham, you’ve got to check out Jollyes. It’s not your average pet store—it’s a cosy spot filled with everything your furry friend could ever need. From cat and dog supplies to goodies for other critters, Jollyes has it all. But what really makes it special is the friendly vibe and helpful staff. They’re all about giving you and your pet a warm welcome and helping you find the perfect treats and toys. What’s cool is that Jollyes isn’t just about stuff. They’ve got a clinic right there and offer grooming services too, so your pet can get pampered and stay healthy. My favourite part? Seeing how much the staff loves pets. When I brought my dog Zeus in, they treated him like royalty, showering him with attention and giving me great advice on toys. Bottom line: If you want a place where your pet feels loved and you get top-notch service, Jollyes is the spot. Trust me, it’s a game-changer for pet parents in Rotherham.

Second time I made a online click and collect order for Rotherham store. The first experience was bad enough but today was even worse. I received extremely poor customer service, insults and false allegations from the Store Manager who seems to have a real attitude problem. She is rude and unprofessional. I went to the store with my 6-month-old puppy to collect my £30 order that I've paid for and I'd had a confirmation email ready to collect 3 days prior. (I had waited 3 days a when I went to collect my first order a month previous I was told by the store manager that I had not allowed enough time for them to pick the order and I had to wait for the confirmation email in order to collect it in future! ) So I went down on 8 Sep with my puppy it was a first experience visiting a pet store and I was all excited for her. I entered the store and there was no customer or staff at the till but a young female assistant was on the shop floor. She acknowledged me and came over to help. I explained about the order collection, gave her my name and offered the order number. I also mentioned it included a large box of butchers puppy food as I thought it might help her identify it quicker. She picked up a basket from behind the till which contained the puppy food and a bag full of treats of which some I had not ordered. I realised that some treats were not what I bought and paid for which I explained to her. The next thing the store manager appeared and told me I was blocking the till as there was a now a small queue of customers behind me?! I repeated to the manager about the items being incorrect in the basket which had been picked for my order as well as some items missing for example I ordered 3 moon bones and there was only 1 in the bag, All treats should be from the loose section not prepacked however the treats picked for me were pre-packed, much more expensive products which would have meant the shop would lose £ if I had taken them without bringing it to their attention. Store manager immediately got defensive and said well they must have not finished picking the order to which I responded but I had an email 3 days ago. Also went on to explain about the last occasion I came in and then she accused me of coming when the shop was closed last time? I corrected her and told her I arrived 20 minutes before the shop was closed n I'd got confirmation of my online order and proof of payment and I explain to them I didn't expect that order to be ready as it hadn't been an hour since I placed the order online. I said I was happy to pick my own order which I did within a few minutes and took it to the till well before the 7pm closing time but the store manager wouldn't release the items and let me leave without the order coming through from her head office which she said she'd still not received? She checked again and by the time it came through It was just after 7 when she let me take the goods. On today's visit she accused me of keeping her and her assistant late the 1st time saying I made them pick the order and kept them over time which is not true! I picked it myself within minutes, the delay was from her side nothing to do with the order picking or the time I arrived at the store? She then went on to accuse me of being rude to her staff??? I have no problem with any of the staff. The only person that's got a problem is her and I told her that. When I called her out on her poor attitude and complete disrespect towards customers, corrected her with facts and told her not to speak to me in that tone as I am a paying customer who expects some level of customer service. Unbelievably she replied same applies to me so I explained to her that I'm not here to represent a company to serve its customers but she is!?.In the end I told her to forget it I'm not about to keep arguing with her just to get my goods I'd come for a positive experience I didn't need my puppy stressed. I told her I'll have a refund from head office then I walked out. Jollyes have a good range at competitive £ so shame really

Our first visit here at the new Parkgate Jollyes. Extremely impressed with the shop. The staff are so lovely & friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. We signed up to their 15% off Loyalty scheme too. Always used a different pet shop not too far away but unfortunately won't be bothering now because we found that Jollyes is better priced for the same products which in this current cost of living time , is more affordable. The shop is laid out lovely and very easy to navigate through. The staff are always on hand if help is needed. They also have a Grooming room and their prices are very good. We will definitely be new regulars here at Jollyes

Personally I found Jollyes as a good pet store never had any issues with hay for my guinea pig and rabbits I have only used two different brands. I thought I would try out the hay at Jollyes as it was cheaper and not even a week after using it my guinea pig died I then checked through her cage to find mushrooms had been growing where the hay was she was happy and healthy running around then all of a sudden she was struggling to stand and wobbling and falling onto her side as I was about to set off the the vets she passed away. I had had my guinea pig coming up 6 years and never had any issues before. I’m going to provide a picture of one mushroom that had been pulled out.
