Julie on reception was fab. My appointment was booked incorrectly it should have been a double appointment for a cardiovascular review. Instead of sending me away she found a cancellation and I had a little wait. Julie was non stop busy, her professional attitude is outstanding.

The entry to the reception where you have to wait there is a barrier to stand behind. Unfortunately this makes it very difficult for anyone's mobility needs as I found it hard to turn around to come back out of the barriered area. Wound be very difficult with any other mobility given wheelchairs or scooters. I'm sure they would move the barrier bit Dr surgery's never have time for anything so would cause other issues. Apart from that I had a very ignorant nurse today, she didn't listen to anything I said and was very abrupt. Never seen her before and don't want to either. Amongst other this the disabled toilets are a disgrace. Exceptionally damp and you can hardly breathe.

Its interesting to note that the management dont respond to the attrocious feedback received by their practice. Perhaps they just dont care as long as that juicy NHS funding keeps rolling in Incredibly rude reception staff / Samantha Lister / shame on you for treating a patient who wanted their test results with utter contempt and absolutely no manners. Formal complaint to follow. Management / what kind if criteria is required for you to employ absolutely inhumane people like this?

Referred here. Comms is terrible and was lied to and rude via e-mail. Cancelled the referral because I do not trust them. Hasn't even got a CQC rating just bad reviews. How are they 'experts' in anything?

Star is for most of the reception who in the recent past at least have been helpful. 10yo son is on 4th day of fever, treated with paracetamol 4xpd. He has some diarrhoea due to mainly liquid diet at mo but is otherwise fine. Temp will not stay down. I did the new online triage, waited 2hrs and have just called. After half an hr queueing reception said it can take up to 48hrs for response. She didn’t even humour me by looking up his record. I asked please could she not ask dr to call me as can’t give him more paracetamol after today, and was told it would be abuse of the triage system and if I could not wait go to a&e. He is ok in self so don’t want to waste a&e time or put him through that. I just want a qualified dr to tell me that my son’s symtptoms are ok, and if not what more can I or they do to help him. I hate that I’m leaving this as i think dr Dawson is brilliant and Pickering has also been as well. Receptionists have it tough and I feel for them. But the human element of primary care is being completely erased and personally I don’t see how patients can be treated efficiently, accurately or well without it. I have heard from numerous people that they are ‘actively discouraging appointments’…shame, and makes little sense to me…but then they don’t pay me the big bucks.
