Saltburn Golf Club
About
Description
Saltburn by the Sea Golf Club was founded in 1894 and was designed by the legendary course architect and 5 time Open Championship winner James Braid. Sitting on the outskirts of the picturesque coastal town of Saltburn by the Sea the course offers magnificent panormaic views of the coastline as well as the iconic Roseberry Topping which sits proudly within the North Yorkshire National Park.
The course itself is a fair and enjoyable challenge for all golfers with a great blend of contouring and elevation throughout the course. Whilst not long by todays standards it's protected by small slick putting surfaces and the usual coastal breeze that swirls around the course. The course rarely closes due to superb drainage and is a pleasure to play all year round.
A warm and friendly members club Saltburn has a reputation for welcoming both new members and guests to the club and is always a popular venue for society golfers and visitors alike. Recently refurbished clubhouse facilities have added charm to what is already a fantastic venue to enjoy at your lesuire.
