Kings Arms

Booked this for an overnight stay while visiting friends. The staff checked to see if I needed a table in the restaurant. I was able to did check in slightly early. Room was lovely, clean and tidy, perfect size and a good temp. I did have a couple of good beers in the bar. Great breakfast.

Had my car in at a specialist in Thirsk and needed somewhere to stay overnight. Found through Booking.com, the King's Arms was a absolute joy of place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff, great room, really comfortable bed, great walk in rain shower, and blessed with a great bar. Although I didn't have an evening meal, the full English breakfast was very nice. Will definitely be back in September for a couple of nights. Thanks.

Lovely place, we found through britstop and stayed in their car park, moved the car in the space straight away for us, we had a lovely meal here, my steak was lovely and lovely ghnoci and sea bass. Staff were very accommodating and lovely. Would definitely stay here again, great if you are camping in a camper van and need a last min place to stay a drink and some food!

Absolute abysmal service and good ordered fillet steak at 31 pound for medium can out blue Asked to be cooked a little longer came back well done do I spoke to the girl on the bar and asked if I could just get a burger instead as neither steak was up to par to be served raw burger and confronted. By the chef owner and threatened has he told me to leave

Handy location close to major routes. Staff exceptionally friendly. Food service in the evening was somewhat slow given the lack of customers. Food was good, not exceptional, but plenty of variety and GF and Vegan options.
