A lovely location close to Scarborough's seafront, Marisco Lounge is inviting and spacious. I booked ahead for a meal, and also made the meal selections in advance as per the emails & instructions you receive when you make an online booking. Therefore it was a surprise that our booking didn't seem to on the system (even though I'd been down the restaurant in person to make sure our booking was in place) and our pre-order hadn't been received. While this was disappointing, the staff were very apologetic (and my thoughts are it wasn't their fault), and they couldn't do enough to make our meal enjoyable. Luckily I'd printed off our booking reference & menu choices so it was sortable. We chose from the festive menu and it was delicious. I enjoyed every course and the portions were just right. I had the lamb koftas, Boxing Day Ham and the Festive black forest cheesecake, and everything was perfect. We had soft drinks, of which there is a good range available. The food arrived in good time and as I say was delicious. The staff were great and it was clear that they really wanted to ensure we enjoyed our experience, which we did. I would go again but I would be cautious about using the Marisco Lounge online system as it clearly isn't working for some reason.

Proper good vibes in here, they were. Cosy, rustic, and soothing - you couldn't ask for better, really. The Big Vegan breakfast was reet grand, that was. Bloody huge portions, mind you, but justified for one. Honestly, you could easily split it between two folk and still be well fed. I'd give it a 10/10, but I wouldn't half appreciate it if they knocked £1.50 or £2 off the price, at most. The blueberry pancakes were also bloody fabulous, as well, but they could do with a bit more cream cheese to be perfect, like. So, a 9/10 for those. And that Cappuccino - that proper woke me up, I tell ya. 10/10 for the brew. Staff were friendly and welcoming, with a good sense of humour on ‘em. Would definitely recommend it, and we'll be popping back in for sure! It's a winner.

On a recent trip to Scarborough we had lunch of grains, greens and chicken at Marisco Lounge which was fine but had very few grains. It could be that we ate quite late in the afternoon but there were only a few people eating so it was very quiet. The service was quick and efficient, I would imagine on another occasion perhaps earlier in the day or an evening this would have been a much better experience as the lounge does look rather good. Hopefully we can revisit on our next trip.

Great restaurant to drop into! Marisco Lounge has a lot to offer, from a robust menu with plenty to choose from, cocktails and desserts too! The atmosphere is very arty, some great art work on the all, eclectic! We would well recommend!

Always love a ‘lounge’ the food is great, service is always friendly and fast, and very dog friendly inside. We had a couple of drinks and the avocado and chicken burger. Delicious as always.
