It's a good-sized carpark with well marked out bays. It's not cheap, but all the other carparks seem to be the same price. You can easily pay with cards, coins, or Ringo app.
Great location, right next to the beach, with toilets. Can be tricky getting in and out of the bays, especially when it's busy. Very expensive, but then probably on a par with the other car parks, and worth it for the convenience. I went on a hot Friday in August and it was full by 10.30.
Nice little Council ran car park, although it gets very busy in the Summer and when events are on. The pier itself is brilliant, especially now the lighthouse is illuminated at night. It's a great place to sit and watch boats come in and out of the Harbour whether or not you are in your car or sat on a bench nearby.
As one of the wagon drivers that comes down to support the local seafood industry, its a lovely spot, with great people, can I please ask tourists though, near the entrance to the pier, be aware of what's around you, especially if your walk light is red, and if you are in a car, we need more space than you so bare that in mind when you are trying to sneak past
Not about the car park, but the sitting on the seats having a relaxing look at the harbour.
