Halifax

I would love to give a shout out to the lovely Scottish lady who's name im sorry to say I didn't get. She was absolutely 💯 brilliant today. Sorting out my husband's banking app. She was so patient and made us feel at ease when taking up so much time. We are so grateful to have your help in dealing with the technology we lack experience in and to have someone there to take over our difficulties was a relief. Our truly hope the Halifax Bank keeps open it is such an asset to the community

Excellent customer help and service at the Scarborough Branch

I have been a Halifax customer for years. The staff are very friendly and there is always a human to talk to. Not like other banks where you are just faced with a plethora of machines and computers. Halifax in Scarborough still offers traditional customer care.

Horrible. I decided to close my account due to poor service and my experience made me even more determined never to use Halifax for banking again. Rude, inpatient, desultory staff who made it clear that they weren't remotely interested in my custom.

So just been in and they don't accept bags of coins so for example you have a bag of 1 pound coins that adds up to 19 pounds but because there isn't 20 in there they won't accept it, same applies for all other coins too. There a bank that doesn't deal with cash, your a bank it's your job so do it. Been with Halifax all my life and I can confirm I am definitely changing banks. Ridiculous.
