I use this store regularly for anything from paint to spare parts to firelighters. The staff are always helpful and know exactly where the stock is. Competitively priced and handy for the town centre. Another local business that helps make Scarboro a good place to shop. And their Winter Wonderland store is a must for the festive season!
Whilst installing a kitchen, I needed to join two surfaces. I need a length of 'Barbed T section'. Went to B&Q, asked the staff & got a puzzled look. One guy even said that he'd installed kitchens for 20 years and NEVER hear of it. I visited CHM, asked about a length of barbed T section and the response was "Yes, right at the back, but we've only got it in white." White was fine.............
What an Aladdins cave. I love this shop so many bits and pieces, hardware, home supplies, decorations. You name it! And how great it is to support a local store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I unexpectedly found pink candles, pretty Christmas garlands and a 'Merry Christmas' wooden decoration which fits perfectly in the centre of my wreath and not forgetting a very good quality Xmas tree and general DIY bits and bobs! Something very different to the usual sterile DIY shopping experience. Winner I'd say! Happy Christmas to all the staff and thank you 🎄🙂
Amazing shop which sells just about everything in the DIY world and more. Staff are always helpful, prices good too!
