a really great local store The place is always clean, well-stocked, and easy to shop in. They also have convenient Post Office services, which makes it even more useful for everyday needs.
Regular customer go there most days, night staff are just plain rude and the prices on show are different to what it scans at ask for receipt, then check. They have being doing this for years now and now mocking customers, I would recommend you avoid
The shop has improved greatly. Products are excellent value and there are plenty of offers. Really happy with the changes.
This is my second encounter with a bad customer service Budgens provided. The first one was I to collect my parcel there, Royal mail has emailed and texted me that it is ready to collect. The items are tagged and normally scanned be delivery people when they deliver it on a designated locations however, the man who was there at the till said that it was not there and to return tomorrow??? I could not understand why they can't find it or probably lazy enough to rummage items. Today, I went there to return an item, Amazon normally provide a QR code and they scan and put label on, and guess what the man at the till said again— to come back tomorrow?????? Why??? I’m sure they have inventories to make shore that they don’t get short of bags/container for Amazon. I'm very disappointed that they can just say to return tomorrow— people sometimes find a small window on their schedule and this is the only time I can return my item. I am so frustrated that they do not have a proper system to do this things for collecting/returning via Royal Mail/Amazon. Last time, I was asking them why and they can not even explain it. So there, I hope Royal mail does something about it or people Dont use this location.
