Perfect location, next to the Scarborough arms pub and walking distance from everywhere. Rooms are clean and warm with a warm shower. Coffee and tea, kettle. The guy on duty was friendly, polite and helpful. Good, cheap accommodation couldn't fault it.
Shower tiny like a caravan, flush didn't work sign said temperamental but we couldnt get it to work at all, wall behind bed stained with large brown patches like there had been a roof leak at some point could do with a lick of paint. Could do with updating overall, but for the price not too bad. Beds comfy, with a lick of paint and the minor issues fixing could easily become a higher rating!
Average hotel; basic rooms only. Staff was polite, and could answer some queries I asked. My room did have tea/coffee making facilities, a TV, and en-suite basin and toilet, but a 4-room shared bathroom was thorough two fire doors, and up a short flight of stairs.
This is not a posh hotel! It's cheap and cheerful 😊 A warm welcome. Very reasonable room. Ensuit shower and toilet. Reasonably clean.. And Excellent price... It'll do nicely 😊😊
I spent not an inconsiderable amount of time looking for the cheapest place to stay in Scarborough and I found it. If cheap is highest on your list of priorities then this place wins hands down. Money has been saved at every turn, but mainly with the lack of staff, amenities, decor, ambience, facilities or services. Their wifi didn't even work - brilliant. They could have saved more money by not providing tea and coffee and not keeping it clean - but they did both. Genuinely recommended
