Scarborough Youth Hostel

I stayed with a group of cycling friends and we were made most welcome by Elise and her husband. The hostel is clean and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. We left well rested and refreshed to continue our journeys the following day.

We arrived early however check-in did not open until 4pm; perhaps we should have read the email instructions. The welcome was warm. The hostel was cosy, clean and the other guests added character. The rooms were basic. A nightlight/reading light would have been useful. The shower I used was fine, it worked and was either luke-warm.or boiling and a hook would have been useful. The walk to Scarborough is 20-mins approx and takes in a wonderful view. Perfect. I'd definitely stay again if I visited these parts in the future ....

A wonderful, peaceful place. I spent a wonderful 5 days there with the children, The owners greet you with a smile every morning, Fully equipped kitchen, great dining room with wooden benches, seemingly raw but cozy, living room with books small but warm. about 15 minutes walk through a beautiful country road overlooking the sea, We highly recommend

This place is amazing. The location and building are beautiful and full of character. The couple running the place are so helpful and polite and friendly. I stayed with my son (9) and my mum and there was another family with kids here too and we all felt that the place was welcoming and safe. Kitchen is well equipped and all rooms are bright and clean and comfortable. There are plenty of thing's for kids and adults to do in the lounge area in case of a rainy day. I couldn't find a single fault . A wonderful stay

A lovely quiet spot on the edge of Scarborough. The staff were really helpful with answering our questions before we arrived. The hostel has a lovely feel with a well equipped kitchen and great communal space. Our 6 bed room was large and very comfortable.
