BETTER KNOWN AS RAINCLIFFE WOODS Peaceful lovely spot to visit walks,picnics etc lots of spots to park F.O.C sawmills long gone now (and they used horse then not so far back) vast area to explore events are on throughout the summer/autumn wood cutting/carving fares etc fishing available with day ticket
We love to use this car park to start our walks in Raincliffe Woods. In my opinion this is one of Scarborough's hidden treasures.
Venue of the national Horse Logging Championships 2015. A terrific event that attracted many competitors & spectators.
