Rural peaceful gem so close to the coast yet feels miles away from tourism. Dog walk from site. Just turn left as you go out the gate and follow the track. No stock in fields when we were there so off lead circle walk back to farm😁 Amazingly good showers and all facilities necessary set within an equestrian centre which for me was idyllic. Watching a stoat having a wrestling match was better than any tv. But great reception for tv was another bonus. Would definitely return and recommend.

I love smaller campsites, so if you do, this is for you. Good hot showers. Beautiful Walks. Friendly & Accomodating owner. Beautiful Views, is on an Equestrian Centre to, so gorgeous horses to watch. Dog friendly. Has Pods as well as grass plots for van, motor homes, tents & caravan. Peaceful and easily accessible. Well priced and around 15 mins from Scarborough Beach. Nice pubs in Seamer next village along. Highly recommended.

We arrived at the site around 7pm Friday night, which wasn't an issue with the owner. Was given the basic guidance of where things were and was then left to pick a pitch of our own choice. The site was small, but was adequate for what we needed it for. Some beautiful views around, and the horses on site were very friendly. We pitched our tent up, and organised our things before heading for a shower. The shower and toilets were a couple of minutes walk from the tent, but again, not too far. Pleasantly surprised by the lay out in the block. Two separate showers, ladies toilets, gents toilets and a wash room. Showers were great, temperature controlled and the water stayed at that temperature for the duration of the shower. The site was a 10 minute drive to the park and ride to get into scarborough, which I would highly recommend. We stayed for 2 nights, including electric for a bargain price. If you want a quiet site (that accepts dogs on leads) then I would highly recommend this site. Dont go expecting all the mod cons you get on some sites, this is a working horse yard, so you fit in around them, and it is basic but has everything you need for a cheap get away. If you like the peace and quiet, then this is the site for you. I will be returning again for another stay, couldn't fault anything on site during our stay.

For a cheap, basic campsite. This ticks all the boxes. If you are looking for a booming campsite with luxurious facilities and hundreds of other campers, this isn't the campsite for you. To review this campsite against a holiday park would be unfair to it. We stayed two nights this weekend on an electric grass pitch, which had more than enough space. The checking in and out was super flexible, which is novel for a campsite, and it gave us extra time on our final morning to go out and explore before worrying about packing up. The owner was very helpful and offered her services for whatever we might need. The campsite was in lovely condition and sited in a peaceful location away from the sound of traffic. The facilities are basic, but give you everything you need for a cheap and cheerful night or two away. A quiet campsite with minimal children and an abundance in wildlife is a winner in my eyes. Perfect little campsite for a cheap weekend away.

Had a really great time here, stayed for a week and couldn't fault it. Toilets and shower block currently being upgraded, but didn't affect the use of any of it. Lovely peaceful location with some lovely views. We will definitely be returning.
