Wilsons Food Hall

Literally my favourite spot!!! Always amazing food and everyone is super friendly and happy to look after me whenever I don’t know what I want! Just perfect food and great vibe really clean as well which is often a let down when you go out for food and drinks. All round fantastic great to have something special in the village. The whole team are so lovely can’t wait to return whether it be for breakfast, lunch, dinner or an evening of special live music night with top quality pizzas and fabulous wines what Is there not to like???

The staff at Wilsons are fantastic. My slightly cheeky request for a bit of Wensleydale cheese to accompany a mince pie in the Yorkshire style was met with a smile. Great coffee, great service and a fabulous festive mince pie and cheese combo. Brilliant!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ After visiting Wilson’s Food Hall regularly for the past year, we can honestly say it has become one of our favourite places for me & my husband but also with our friends & family! We were also surprised to see a recent negative comment because our experience like the majority of reviews we read have been consistently excellent from day one. The moment you step inside, there’s a welcoming, relaxed vibe, (their Christmas decorations are incredible and enjoyed by everyone!) the ambience, lighting and music all work perfectly together. The staff deserve particular praise, they’re warm, friendly and conscientious and always make us feel right at home, Carly, Dan, Sally, Julie, Charlie, not forgetting Jack & Phillipe who always make us feel right at home! We feel like part of the family! The food has never disappointed. The menu offers plenty of choice, and everything we’ve tried has been fresh and delicious. Chef Luke’s homemade specials (the pie & stew are to die for) we can’t wait for Burns night again!! Places like Wilson’s don’t seem to exist up north, we see plenty when travelling to see our daughters in Oxfordshire and London but Wilson’s offers a classy, five star experience for everyone! Very beautiful place at North Yorkshire. We stopped there on our way to Staithes, to have a morning coffee with slice of cake. Very delicious and good service.

I was lucky enough to win an Afternoon Tea for Two at Wilson's. My husband and I went on a busy Sunday afternoon and loved it. My husband had a Coronation Chicken sandwich while I opted for roast chicken. Both sandwiches were stuffed with delicious fillings and served with salad, coleslaw and kettle chips. Our scones were delicious, too. Staff were considerate and friendly, particularlythe young woman who took our order and served us. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Wilson's ❤️
