<p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>Are you passionate about&nbsp;people &amp; housing? You could be the perfect fit for our&nbsp;Safe Neighbourhoods Officer&nbsp;role at The Guinness Partnership. This is a full time, 35 hours per week, permanent role covering locations across South Yorkshire.&nbsp;This role is agile-based, enabling flexible, collaborative working to support our residents.</p> <p>The overall purpose of the role is to keep homes and communities safe from harm by delivering preventative plans to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB).</p> <p><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a resilient, highly motivated professional who brings a victim-centred, non-judgmental approach to every case. You will combine strong ASB legal knowledge with excellent investigative and case-management skills, alongside the confidence to work independently and make sound decisions in challenging situations. Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential, as is the ability to build effective relationships with external agencies. If you thrive in environments shaped by legislative and organisational change and are driven to deliver sustainable, positive outcomes, we would love to hear from you.</p> <p><strong>You will be able to demonstrate</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrable victim centred, non-judgmental approach to case management.</li><li>Excellent customer service delivery, demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Highly self-motivated with the ability to plan and work effectively without high levels of supervision.</li><li>Strong ASB legal knowledge.</li><li>Experience of working with and engaging external agencies.</li><li>Strong investigation skills and good understanding of case management.</li><li>Experience of working in a climate of legislative and organisational change.</li><li>Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li><li>Resilient and able to deal with challenging situations and deliver sustainable outcomes.</li><li>Good attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communications.</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office</li><li>Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.</li></ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience delivering targeted ASB prevention projects.</li><li>Experience of working in the housing or property sector.</li><li>Strong knowledge of regulatory legislation for social housing.</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Educated to Level 2 (C&#43; or 9-4 GCSE or equivalent) or higher.</li></ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Academic qualifications in Housing and/or Tenancy Management.</li><li>CIH Housing Practice Certificate (Level 3).</li><li>Social Care qualification.</li></ul> <p>If you’re interested in finding out more about the key responsibilities of the role and/or to ensure you meet the essential criteria, please review the attached role profile.</p> <p>REEDTGP</p>
