Your leadership will help us maintain a caring, efficient, and positive atmosphere in our home. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.</p> <p><strong>What we offer:<br /></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>£13.00 - £13.50 per hour</strong></li><li><strong>Paid Breaks</strong></li><li><strong>Enhanced Rate for overtime & Bank Holidays (T&C's apply)</strong></li><li><strong>Paid Manadatory Training - earn while you learn!</strong></li><li><strong>Access to Employee Assistance Programme</strong></li><li><strong>Pension</strong></li><li><strong>Onsite Parking</strong></li><li><strong>Paid DBS</strong></li><li><strong>Uniform Provided</strong></li><li><strong>5.6 Weeks Annual Leave (Based on a full-time contract)</strong></li></ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <p><strong>Lead and Coordinate:</strong> Ensure all staff contribute to the smooth running of the home and create the right atmosphere.<br /><strong>Resident Support:</strong> Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility, always prioritizing their dignity and independence.<br /><strong>Medication Management:</strong> Oversee the ordering, administration, and documentation of medication, maintaining accurate records.<br /><strong>Effective Communication:</strong> Engage with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure clear, compassionate communication.<br /><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong> Foster a team ethos, respecting diversity and promoting a supportive environment for all staff.<br /><strong>Visitor Interaction:</strong> Welcome visitors and show prospective residents and families around the home’s facilities.<br /><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Respond promptly to emergency call bells, assess situations, and provide or call for assistance as needed.<br /><strong>Documentation:</strong> Write and update care plans, risk assessments, and case notes, ensuring they reflect residents’ needs and wishes.<br /><strong>Professional Development:</strong> Participate in staff meetings, training, and e-learning, taking responsibility for your own growth and development.<br /><strong>Health and Safety:</strong> Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety policies, including COSHH, and escalate concerns to management.</p> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Qualifications:</strong> SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential.
