<strong>Role Overview</strong> <p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>OpenShift Architecture and Migration Design Specialist</strong> to lead the design, planning, and execution of <strong>enterprise OpenShift architecture and migration strategies</strong>.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in <strong>Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, container platforms, and cloud-native architecture</strong>, along with strong experience integrating OpenShift environments with <strong>VMware and Pure Storage</strong> infrastructures.</p> <p>This role will focus on designing <strong>scalable, secure, and resilient OpenShift environments</strong> and ensuring smooth migration of applications and workloads with minimal disruption.</p> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><strong>OpenShift Architecture Design</strong> <ul> <li>Design and implement <strong>enterprise-grade OpenShift architecture</strong>, including cluster topology, networking, and storage.</li><li>Define <strong>best practices for OpenShift cluster deployment</strong>, including <strong>multi-zone and multi-region architectures</strong>.</li><li>Ensure solutions meet <strong>high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery requirements</strong>.</li><li>Provide architectural guidance for <strong>containerized platforms and Kubernetes-based workloads</strong>.</li></ul> <strong>Migration Planning &amp; Execution</strong> <ul> <li>Assess <strong>existing infrastructure, workloads, and applications</strong> for migration readiness.</li><li>Develop <strong>detailed migration strategies</strong> including containerization, workload migration, and data transfer.</li><li>Execute migration plans ensuring <strong>minimal downtime and operational disruption</strong>.</li><li>Identify migration risks and implement <strong>mitigation strategies</strong>.</li></ul> <strong>VMware &amp; Pure Storage Integration</strong> <ul> <li>Design OpenShift deployments integrated with <strong>VMware environments</strong>.</li><li>Utilize VMware technologies such as <strong>vSphere, vCenter, and NSX</strong> for optimized deployments.</li><li>Configure and manage <strong>Pure Storage solutions (FlashArray, FlashBlade)</strong> to support OpenShift workloads.</li><li>Ensure <strong>performance optimization and compatibility</strong> across OpenShift, VMware, and storage infrastructure.</li></ul> <strong>CI/CD &amp; DevOps Integration</strong> <ul> <li>Design and implement <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> optimized for OpenShift environments.</li><li>Integrate <strong>DevOps workflows and automation tools</strong> for continuous deployment.</li><li>Automate <strong>deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes</strong> to streamline software delivery.</li></ul> <strong>Scalability &amp; Security</strong> <ul> <li>Design solutions that support <strong>scalability and future workload growth</strong>.</li><li>Implement <strong>security best practices</strong>, including:</li><li>Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)</li><li>Network policies</li><li>Encryption</li><li>Conduct <strong>security reviews and compliance audits</strong> for OpenShift environments.</li></ul> <strong>Collaboration &amp; Documentation</strong> <ul> <li>Work closely with <strong>DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams</strong>.</li><li>Provide <strong>architecture documentation, migration guides, and operational runbooks</strong>.</li><li>Offer <strong>technical guidance and training</strong> to teams on OpenShift and Kubernetes best practices.</li></ul> <strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong> <ul> <li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>Red Hat OpenShift (OCP)</strong> architecture and deployment.</li><li>Deep knowledge of <strong>Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration platforms</strong>.</li><li>Expertise with <strong>VMware technologies</strong> (vSphere, vCenter, NSX).</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Pure Storage platforms</strong> such as <strong> FlashArray and FlashBlade</strong>.</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>networking concepts</strong> including ingress, DNS, and load balancing.</li><li>Experience with <strong>persistent storage, dynamic provisioning, and container storage solutions</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>CI/CD tools</strong> such as <strong>Jenkins, GitHub, or ArgoCD</strong>.</li><li>Experience implementing <strong>DevOps workflows in container environments</strong>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>high availability, scalability, and security architecture</strong>.</li></ul> <p><br /></p>
