Nomad Maison

I popped in as my partner was attending the Warmth Community Sauna next door. Immediately Jake was really friendly and showed me around the space and gave me all of the information about their ceramics, rugs, etc. There was no pressure to buy anything but just to look around, have a feel of the rugs and take pictures etc. And free coffee while I did so! I ended up staying for the full hour while my partner enjoyed the sauna and we left with a ceramic vase (made with beautiful natural dyes) and with our eyes on a stunning rug we’d passed on the way out. Next day we gave in and messaged to ask to buy it and Jake very kindly offered to drop it off for us the same day! So it’s in our flat now and looking absolutely amazing. 10/10 customer service and also dedication to community — the space is a testament to a fantastic ethos of community and sustainability and I’d recommend for anyone who’s interested to pop down and have a look. Jake was also really helpful at explaining their process: if you have a budget and colours in mind they will send you options if you ask. Our first rug in our new flat and we’re so happy!

I’ve had the wonderful pleasure of finding this hidden treasure tucked away on a side road in Wicker. Since that moment, I’ve been coming here regularly as much as my schedule allows me. I’ve attended the wonderful wellness events they’ve been hosting here such as the pilates sessions with Evelin followed by a homemade treat by James, a chef! Also can’t forget the coffee too! I also attended a soundbath, finnish style sauna and cold plunge. This is more than just a rug shop, they’ve got some wonderful ceramic pieces and beautifully made rugs/pillows and mirrors. But they’re also passionate about delivering wellness events that are easily accessible for most people. They’re affordable and you’re getting your moneys worth! There’s parking as well as parking on the street outside. Nomad Maison are really passionate about providing a safe space for the community. I’ve had the pleasure of attending two of the Nomad Maison wellness events- and I’m always blown away at how good they are! Everyone gives such a nice feel, it’s so welcoming and a great way to meet new people- the Yoga events with Evelin are relaxing and it’s such a nice environment to be in The food is incredible and the portions are super generous! Can’t wait to be back for more of the events and to try the sauna again!

I really enjoyed wandering around viewing all that is on offer at Nomad Maison. There was absolutely no pressure to buy and I felt comfortable taking the time to choose cushion covers, a beautiful rug and unusual coffee table. Jake was very friendly and informative and clearly loves what he does. I can't wait to return and see what new things he has coming in. With my new purchases and a bit of a revamp I'm back in love with my lounge.

Nomad Maison is a brilliant little gem, they have gorgeous rugs and ceramics. I bought two beautiful rugs for my new home. Jake is knowledgeable and helpful, with a clear passion for what he goes. I’ll definitely be back - the candlesticks and vases are calling my name!
