Upperthorpe Post Office

Great professional service. The ladies are all lovely, helpful and very patient, even when I come with lots of parcel to send back.

The lady that helped me was so helpful when I visited on 20/06/25. I'd got myself in to a bit of a tiz and had to post a lot of items to myself when moving home as realised an hour before I needed to leave, I couldn't physically carry everything on the train. Was in a rush for my train and the lady who helped me was so, so helpful and patient with me (being stressed I kept messing bits up with packing my items and she went above and beyond to help). Items arrived as expected and I even caught my pre booked train home :) Thank you so much!

Recently used this post office and the customer service I received was appalling primarily the mature women working behind the glass(grey hair,black glasses). I came In to buy a envelope for a card and was instead directed to a queue for dropping off parcels and had to wait over 20 mins then to then be given a dirty look upon reaching the front of the queue and being told I cannot purchase the card and was gave no valid reason or explanation as to why even though half of the post office inside is filled with cards to purchase. I was then made to purchase an envelope which I did not want. Feeling extremely uncomfortable and flustered after being in the post office for half an hour and felt unable to say anything. I left feeling disappointed and very uncomfortable. As someone who struggles leaving to house, this has made the experience incredibly daunting and distressing. This is not misinformation and it’s embarrassing that’s the attitude you have and to not even acknowledge your own behaviour in this matter is just disappointing. Grow up.

Dawn and her friend are the best they help the community

Walked in to return a parcel, barely greeted by either of the two women behind the counter, they were deep in there own conversation and had little recollection for the fact I was there. One lady took my parcel and began serving me, meanwhile missing some of the crucial steps like weighing the parcel and was unable to print me a proof of postage receipt because of a ‘system error’. Perhaps if they were actually focussing on what they were doing rather than talking about fancy dress for a party it might have been done properly. Overall extremely disappointed with the service and truly believe in any line of retail, customer service should be at the forefront of the experience.
