I recently had a dental check-up and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. The dentist and the staff were extremely kind and understanding, especially since I feel nervous about dental visits. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the appointment. I truly felt supported and safe, and the whole process was smooth and gentle. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone, especially if you feel anxious about dental care—they make it easy to feel calm and cared for.

I started going to Mola about 3 or 4 years ago and can honestly say it has been nothing but a pleasure - odd thing to say about a visit to the dentist and hygienist I know! I used to dread going to the dentist before I went to Mola, but they are so kind, gentle, helpful, considerate and friendly, we always have a chat and a laugh, it's like seeing friends every 6 months. They give lots of advice on looking after your teeth and gums, which has been really helpful. I have had a few things done and have not been nervous at all, knowing that it will all be fine. I have an issue with my jaw but everyone is really patient and understanding, extremely kind and gentle. I pay monthly, very reasonable, and appointments are always available, which is reassuring to know. I can't recommend them enough, and they haven't paid me or given me a year's free treatment to say this, it's just been such a relief to go to Mola, I am just very grateful! And they have really lovely green chairs that I always want to take home with me 😁

I’m extremely disappointed with the level of organisation and communication at Mola Dental. I contacted the practice after learning that a Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD) could be a potential solution for my snoring and mild sleep apnoea, which has been affecting my ability to stay awake at work and even on public transport. After searching for dentists in Sheffield offering this service, Mola Dental stood out due to its 4.9 rating, which gave me confidence to proceed. When I called, I was clearly told that the practice offers MADs (specifically the Sleepwell brand), given the consultation price, and booked in for 2nd January. I explained very clearly that I work in London and would need to take time off work and travel back to Sheffield specifically for this appointment. I was reassured that this was noted and that the process would involve two appointments: an initial consultation, followed by fitting two weeks later. I paid the £75 consultation fee, despite the payment form even having my first name incorrect. I then completed the intake form, where I clearly stated that the purpose of my visit was a consultation to purchase a Mandibular Advancement Device for snoring. I also received appointment reminders, so at no point was I made aware of any issue. On the day of the appointment, at around 10am, I was contacted by the practice asking if I wanted to come in for a hygiene test appointment at 11am, which was not what I had booked. I explained this and confirmed that my actual appointment was scheduled for 14:00, and that I had other commitments beforehand. Shortly after, I received another call informing me that the practice could not provide the service at all, as the dentist who provides MADs is only available on Thursdays. This was never mentioned during booking, payment, or form completion. By this stage, I had already rearranged work, travelled from London, and invested both time and money based on the information I had been given. When I was then told that I could simply “book in for another day,” I explained that, given this experience, I did not feel comfortable proceeding or spending nearly £700 with the practice, and questioned how I could reasonably trust the process after what had just happened. I was told the matter would be discussed with the practice manager and that I would receive a call back regarding a refund of the consultation fee. That call never came. I later received an email receipt confirming that the £75 consultation fee would be refunded. While I appreciate the refund, I was disappointed not to receive the promised call back, nor any explanation for the disruption caused. This situation goes beyond a simple admin error. At minimum, patients deserve accurate information, proper internal communication, and respect for their time, especially when travel, work commitments, and significant costs are involved. Very disappointing experience, particularly given the otherwise strong reputation of the practice.

Popped up to visit family and broke a decent piece off my tooth so rang them and was fitted in the next day. Had to pop in as an emergency. Received brilliant care and service. I was greeted by 2 very friendly and lovely ladies in reception and after a short wait in a comfortable setting went into see Sarah the dentist and she was so lovely and kind along with her nurse. I was instantly put at ease and with in a short time was expertly dealt with and on my way. She’s done an amazing job and I am so pleased. The room was immaculate and Sarah along with her nurse did expertly performed procedure. Both ladies made me feel so relaxed and were so calming. I also paid the toilet a visit which was also extremely clean. All in all a successful, friendly, professional visit and it’s a shame they aren’t based here in South Wales as I can highly recommend them and I would definitely use them as my regular dentist. If you need any dental work please don’t be afraid to give them a ring you won’t be disappointed 😀
