When mum passed away the task of organising a funeral was very daunting. This was immediately eased when I spoke to Jackie at John heath & Sons. My mind was put at rest knowing mum was being taken into their care. knowing I wasn’t in the county at the time Jackie even kindly rang me overseas to keep me up to date with the arrival of mum at the home. We were treated with compassion and respect both in person and over the phone. Mum was kept in their care for 5 weeks and was show nothing but modesty and care. I always felt comfortable calling to ask any question I felt unsure of and was welcomed with empathy and reassurance. Over the entire course of this heartbreaking time myself and my sibling felt comfortable knowing mum was in safe caring hands. I would recommend anyone to use this funeral home for their loved ones. I couldn’t speak highly enough of them all and I know mum would appreciate the dignity and respect they gave to her more so than she received in life. After recently losing my Dad who was everything to us and my best friend. We were guided, helped, reassured and supported by Jackie. Jackie manages to make a very difficult and sad situation uplifting. In her care I knew my Dad was very looked after and I felt that she knew him. She genuinely cares, welcomes and thinks about what is best for you all as a family. I cannot recommend Jackie and her team enough - Like my dad she is 'something else' And amazing at what she does. We want to thank John heaths and especially Jackie mills for their care of mum from start to finish , she listened to our wishes and made them reality , she even washed mums hair which we thought was a lovely touch , Emma printed the order of service just how we wanted , perfect. The chauffeurs were immaculate and very courteous, Ben Oliver the celebrant delivered mums service with care and humour just as we had cared for mum , with tears and laughter . In a very difficult time Jackie and her team have just been outstanding! I can't put into words the support, strength, love and care I feel they have provided for me, my nan, and my family whilst looking after my mum. No review I could write would do them justice. No question is to daft, everything is explained well, Jackie's approach is everything we needed and more. This was the team to look after our mum after she passed without a doubt. The environment is bright and welcoming just like she was! (And in a way almost cheery!) (If youd have told me you could feel at home at a funeral home id have thought you were crazy!!!) And the care provided to our 76 year old nan just melted my heart. From little bars of chocolate whilst she visited mum on the 2nd day after Jackie hearing shed have like some on the first, to the funeral where the wonderful team made sure she got in and out of the cars safely and wasn't in the cold for long....the list is endless. They are so caring and respectful. I genuinely feel like I'm losing a friend in Jackie! And will miss her cheery voice and wonderful conversation! She is a woman my mum would have loved. And I'm so grateful her and her team looked after our mum. I really can't thankyou enough.
