I needed an urgent appointment but was refused. When I tried to argue my case, I was told that “it doesn’t work like this in this country, maybe in other countries it’s different”. I’ve lived here for 9 years now, but I’m still an immigrant to these people, who treat you like dirt if you challenge them or show any emotion. The level of gaslighting is unimaginable; avoid like the plague.
I like it. Only delay i experienced was with the NHS app, so not a problem with the clinic itself. Wait time was actually shorter than i would expect nowadays. My GP was very easy to talk to about mental health issues.
Abysmal! This absolute car crash of a practice were just going to let me rot to death although I showed up on their doorstep not even able to stand up. They won't even let me leave my review on their NHS website because it's too bad. The place needs to be closed before they kill someone (or more people because I would not be surprised it has actually happened). Edit: How about you put some care into looking after your patients rather than using your time looking after your online reviews?
The medical staff I've seen here are great, but everyone working admin is abysmal. You call reception, they tell you to email. You email, they tell you to use the app. The app doesn't work, so you email them back. They tell you to ring reception - you can't get through. So you try to put in a general admin request on the app - they're not taking requests anymore. It's frankly an absurd system - and this is has happened twice when I've need a prescription urgently. And the only reason it's happened a second time is because someone can't read the difference between a week's worth of tablets and a month's worth of tablets. A lazy mistake to make and I'd be more understanding if it wasn't going to cause me to have to go on a wild goose chase every time. Edit: Since the GP has recently switched to the NHS app from Anima, things do seem to be improving. ♥️
Edit: From 2->4 stars. Since switching from anima to accurx, via NHS app, things have been improving with accurx fixing a lot of issues anima caused, the appointment system especially. GPs are good and once you have been seen for something follow ups are reasonably easy to book. BUT getting an appointment can take hours to days, anima their online booking systems triage questions are worse than 111 online and it’s impossible to get urgent appointments. Several times it has taken me full days to get an appointment, just for it to be in a week’s time, for something severally impacting my daily life and 111 says to get checked in 1-2 days.
