I had a massage with Tahler at White House Sandygate and he was excellent. I felt at my ease with him and he was very friendly. I went to see him because I have a problem with tight calves as a runner. After I left my legs felt soft and relaxed for the first time in ages. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve had quite a lot deep tissues massages with John Wort at Virgin Active, as well as up at the Whitehouse Sandygate. I absolutely recommend him - he is a very skilled therapist, with a range of skills and the ability to taylor them to what is needed. I’ve had fairly severe shoulder issues for 16 months now and finding John really was a turning point. The work he’s done, as well as the advice he’s been able to offer me, has been so helpful in my steady recovery - I’m incredibly grateful for what he’s done for me. I have a physical job and am so glad to know I have John there for as and when I need help.

I am very happy with my physio treatment. I had the pleasure of meeting John Forde who has been excellent in understanding my problem and working with me in finding a solution. I have some shoulder problems, namely snapping scapula which resulted in pain, disconfort and overall weakness of the right shoulder. John recommended a series of targeted weight training exercises which worked wonders for me. After a couple of months of physio I feel no pain at all. Thank you!

I have been absolutely delighted with the treatment provided by Zsoka Balogh from the White House. I needed follow up physio after a second hip operation in July 2024. The 10 or so sessions were all held in the Virgin Active gym in Sheffield as the White House clinic has consultation rooms there. The massive advantage of this is that I was able to use all the professional equipment in the gym in a guided and structured way to target the various muscle groups associated with the surgery. Zsoka was brilliant at directing me in the use of the equipment. Despite all the hard work each session was very enjoyable and Zsoka was a pleasure to work with on this. The end end result was that all the muscle groups have significantly improved and that gave me great confidence for a Scottish Highlands walking holiday. I was able to walk and climb further than I had done in ages following this. I also joined Zsoka’s Hip and Knee class at the White House for 6 weeks. This was. Very different type of physio all about balance control. Again hardworking but it definitely helped with the recovery. This sort of physio after a hip operation is so very important and helpful. I wish I had recognised what I was missing earlier and not waited 6 months from the operation to get this treatment. I cannot recommend Zsoka highly enough. It was brilliant and just what I needed. So thank you! Simon Nevill

I had a hip replacement 18 months ago and was still experiencing pain and discomfort around the wound and immediate area. Bursitis was also an ongoing concern. In my initial assessment John was able to identify the problems and explained to me in a very thorough and clear way. He reassured me that it could be improved and after one treatment I had some pain relief. I’ve continued with my treatment with John and continue to improve and my walking has improved significantly. I would fully recommend sports massage therapy and Johns knowledge and expertise is outstanding.
