Gav was recommended to me and I couldn’t have been happier with the service and professionalism. Gav did a fantastic job and was able to do the job at short notice. I will definitely use his services again and will be recommending him.
Reached out to Gavin for help fitting a washing machine. He came round within a few days of the initial message and got it up and running for us. Also replaced a couple of broken parts (second hand machine) after noticing them during installation for a very minimal extra cost. Very affordable and great service. Will be contacting him with any issues in future!
We contacted Clear Plumbing Solutions regarding a leaking toilet. Gavin was very helpful and called around the next day. He was able to quickly identify the problem and wasted no time in getting it fixed. We found Gavin to be a very pleasant person to deal with. We would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to family and friends.
I would give Gavin -5 stars if it was an option. I had a very frustrating experience with Gavin, and I feel it's important to share the timeline of events to demonstrate just how unprofessional this interaction was so he can't deny this later on. 1. April 27th: I initially reached out to Gavin for a quote to replace my toilet and sink. We told him time was of the essence for us. We agreed on a quote appointment for Thursday, April 30th, between 2-3 PM. Gavin showed up for the initial consultation and assured us he would send a quote by next Monday, May 5th. 2. May 1st: Gavin sent over some sample pictures , and I responded with my choice, asking if he could get the price to me by the next day. He assured me that he is fully aware of my timeline and he'd send the quote by Monday, May 5th, but this was delayed again. 3. May 5th: After not receiving the quote as promised, I sent a reminder asking when I could expect it. Gavin responded, explaining that Monday was a bank holiday, and the quote would come the next day. 4. May 6th: By the afternoon, I still hadn’t received the quote, so I followed up again at around 3 PM. Gavin responded that he'd send the quote in 2 hours. H finally sent the quote later that day and I agreed to the price right away and asked some follow-up questions but received no response. 5. May 7th: Gavin finally responded, saying he could come Friday (May 9th), and that the work could begin mid-week next week and ignored my follow-up questions. I requested a specific time and asked for the photos of the products (toilet, vanity, etc.), but Gavin did not respond. 6. May 8th: I received a message from Gavin confirming he'd be at my place between 12-2 PM on May 9th. However, he then texted me later saying that he couldn’t make it and asked if I could do later this afternoon or Saturday. I told him not Saturday, but I could do after 4:30 PM today. I asked him when he would be arriving, but he did not respond. 7. May 8th (5 hours later): After no response from Gavin, I texted him, "I assume you are no longer interested and I'll give up." 8. Later that evening: Gavin finally responded saying that the quote he had sent me was incorrect and he needed to add something else. He then asked if I was available Sunday and explained that he couldn’t do Monday due to a family matter. By this point, I had had enough. I told him I was going with someone else who was serious about doing business, as he had wasted my time for days and showed zero commitment or respect for the timeline we had clearly communicated from the beginning. I would strongly advise against working with him. He is extremely unreliable and unprofessional.
Gavin has been a massive help recently helping with the house move and helping us diagnose an issue when our boiler wasn’t working which saved us having to call someone out. Really nice guy and all the work he does is top notch
