J E James Cycles - Rotherham

Lovely experience at J E James Cycles - Rotherham today. Although I only purchased a singular caffeine gel, they helped me out by letting me leave my bike at the shop for a couple of hours whilst I went to the dentist nearby. The shop itself is huge, there are bikes here for all needs and requirements. Separate E-bike and Junior bike showrooms is a nice touch. The building the shop is set within feels nigh-on palatial, especially given its surroundings within a non-descript estate of terraced houses in Rotherham. The palatial feel doesn't stop at the building either, as the staff are ready to serve as if they were butlers tending to your every need. Each fellow shopped I encountered at J E James Cycles Rotherham left the shop with a smile on their face and a spring in their step. This bike shop is very good and worth traveling for if you are considering it, take this from someone who has been to more than anyone really should in their time.

The service from everyone in store was fantastic. Honestly, we were very well looked after and got great advice. Would never ever go to Halfords again. Would highly recommend to everyone. Ps. Really really good. I went in at short notice while I was bike touring. They usually make people wait a few days for repairs, as you'd expect. But I was a long way from home, with a wheel that was literally collapsing. It could've killed me to have kept riding it, so I wheeled the bike 8 miles to get to them. They rebuilt my wheels in record time. And the quality of the rebuild was SO high. I checked the spokes again after 'riding them in,' just as they'd suggested. And all the spokes had held just fine. Which is a fantastic feat, considering I have a gigantic cargo bicycle. I don't think the quality of their repairs could possibly be any higher. Hey, head office, give all these guys a raise! I know this will sound a bit weird, but I was also impressed that they didn't have one of those horrid air feshener dispensers in their toilet. I have an allergy to them. So they were very accessible. Sorry to hog the facilities while I was there, guys! But needs must. And last but not least, I was impressed how they did so many checks on my bicycle while they were at it. They got everything shop shape, and its never ridden more smoothly.

Having made a couple of purchases from the Rotherham store of JE James today I would like to share my experience. The choice of equipment on display and available to purchase is fantastic, the knowledge and professionalism from each and every member I spoke with was exemplary, the ease of trying before buying was simple and this made my decisions easy. I would wholly recommend that you visit this store before making a purchase from anywhere else as their experience and enthusiasm for all their products from the smallest essential item to a major purchase shows through, and they went above and beyond my expectations. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Been today to purchase a helmet for my son as soon as we walked in they were so friendly saying hello asking if we needed help honestly amazing customer service not at all like the Sheffield one
