Massive! Ponsfords has been here forever and has always had a real positive reputation for fine quality and unusual furniture. Lifts on all floors and a lovely cafe area. Plenty of free parking.

The shop offers a good selection of various types of furniture. It's great to have a place in the city that offers an opportunity to browse the showroom., especially bearing in mind that we no longer have a department store. Overall a good experience. Hopefully coming back!

Wow! What a place this is! I called here on a Saturday as I was looking for a new dining table and chairs. To say I was spoilt for choice is an understatement! The range of furniture on display here is simply incredible. As one might expect, some of the furniture is pricey - very pricey! 10k for a dining table anyone?! This aside, there are also selections available for more modestly sized budgets, and it was actually quite fun guessing the price of some items and being surprised when they weren't as expensive as you thought they might be. There's no pushy sales tactics here either. Staff are available and on-hand if you want them, but other than that, you're left alone. This is something I appreciate as I can't think of anything worse than walking into a shop and being set upon by an eager salesperson. It's nice to find an independent furniture store that is able to offer such a wide range of products on display. This is something you don't see much of these days and I always feel it's important to keep places like this alive. If you're on the lookout for a piece of new furniture, or even just a decorative item like a lamp, ornament or mirror, be sure to call in here. You won't regret it. Just make sure you give yourself enough time because it's easy to get lost!

Fantastic furniture and very helpful staff. I always thought it was furniture beyond my reach but was very surprised. Bought a leather sofa amd chair then also bought a load of wooden side units as well.

Invited to help find a corner sofa for a family room I went for the first time in over 30 years. Such a fantastic choice of really beautiful sofas. Prices on the high side (although currently there's a sale) but you could see that they were real quality and would last many many years. Plenty of styles from modern to more traditional and many shown in room style settings. Great selection of fabric swatches and choice of style feet from wood to brushed stainless. We chose a sofa and was able to choose the correct size modules to fit the room space using a magnetic planner. Lots of beautiful dining tables, units, wall art and ornaments too. There is even a cafe to have a cuppa and piece of cake whilst you decide. Ample on site parking. My only problem is I saw the perfect sofa for me, best start saving!
